The article states that heating Salisbury cathedral has been modernised by replacing old fashioned stoves by 2 packaged hot water boilers each rated 600kW. It claims that the major problem of heat dissipation to a high level was solved by proper siting of 29 fan-convector heaters each rated 9.3kW. The boilers are operated in sequence according to the heating load.
