Abstract

Describes humidity control through humidistatically controlled heating. The system is based on the principle that the relative humidity of a constant volume of air with a given moisture content can be controlled by changing the temperature. A field study described in the article indicates that this method can be used to control relative humidity in unused buildings during the winter.
